Address Types

We have enhanced the contactInformation section by introducing a new addresses array containing standardized addressType values and corresponding registry-specific mappings. The current address structure will remain unchanged for now to provide clients with time to adapt. During this transition period, users will continue to see the same address data in both the new addresses field and the existing address-related fields. Once data from all jurisdictions and sources has been fully integrated into the dataset, we will provide advance notice before retiring the legacy fields but not earlier than the end of Q1 2026. New jurisdictions

• Thailand TH
  We are happy to announce our new API connection to the Department of Business Development, Ministry of Commerce in Thailand. This connection replaces the previous setup and enables access to number search, datasets, and documents. Please find more information here.
• Romania RO
  We are excited to announce our new connection to the National Trade Register Office (ONRC) in Romania. In addition to name and number search and refresh datasets on KYC API v1 and v2, users can now also access the official register report. Please find more information here.
• United-States US – Hawaii HI
  We are pleased to inform you of a new connection to the Hawaii Department of Commerce & Consumer Affairs, offering name and number search functionality and refresh dataset access on KYC API v1 and v2.
• United-States US – Michigan MI
  A new connection has been established with the Michigan Corporations Division, enabling both name and number search along with the refresh dataset.
• United-States US – Nebraska NE
  We are now connected to the Nebraska Secretary of State, supporting name and number search as well as refresh datasets on KYC API v1 and v2.
• United-States US – Utah UT
  The connection to the Utah Division of Corporations and Commercial Code has been reestablished, with name and number search and refresh dataset fully enabled.
  

Enhanced and fixed jurisdictions

• Belgium BE
  We have expanded our dataset by adding website, phone number, and email address fields to our integration with the Belgian business register.
• Germany DE
  To improve stability and efficiency, we have merged the super dataset into the refresh dataset. All data fields remain available, ensuring continuity for users while reducing operational load and maintaining free access to German data. Please find more information here.
• Jordan JO
  We have introduced enhanced and newly added data fields to our integration with the Companies Control Department – Ministry of Industry and Trade. These improvements provide greater detail and accuracy. Please find more information here.
• Slovakia SK
  We have enhanced our existing integration by introducing number-based search capabilities. The update also includes the addition of new fields within the refresh dataset. Please find more information here.
• Taiwan TW
  We have implemented updates to the connection with the Administration of Commerce, Ministry of Economic Affairs (中華民國經濟部), adding refined and enhanced data fields. Availability may vary depending on the legal form to ensure data consistency. Please find more information here.

    Our connection to the North Carolina Secretary of State has been reestablished and is fully operational again.
  • Maryland MD
    Our connection to the Arizona Corporation Commission has been reestablished and is fully functional again.
  • Maine ME
    The connection to register Arkansas Secretary of State has been restored and regained full functionality.
  • Minnesota MN
    The register of the Indiana Secretary of State is fully accessible again.
  • New Hampshire NH
    Searching the register of the Kansas Secretary of State is once again operating at full capacity.

Product improvements

API

• Search engine update
  We have transitioned to a new engine for Index Searches on V1, V2, and cloud platforms. This migration has allowed us to retire our legacy indexing system, enhancing security, maintainability, flexibility, and reliability. The updated and customizable search algorithm now delivers better search results.

• Live Search Data Alignment
  Our search response data has been systematically aligned with official registers, ensuring that all available fields are consistently integrated into our outputs. Please find more information here.
  
• idSearch improvements
  We have introduced multiple enhancements to our idSearch functionality. The updates significantly boost performance and improve match rates, especially for countries that previously had low matching success.
• Updated error messages
  To enhance client support, we have implemented search-by-number validation for Austria, Germany, and Luxembourg. Instead of receiving a generic 503 error, clients will now receive more detailed error messages that provide guidance on the correct number search formatting.

Developer Portal

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is now required
We have successfully implemented a security enhancement for the kompany.com application suite. Following the recent integration of Moody’s Single Sign-On (SSO) platform into the kompany.com login process, we have taken the next step to protect your account. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is now required as part of the login process. Therefore, in addition to your usual credentials, you will be prompted to verify your identity using a One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your email.

Coming next

New and enhanced country integrations

• Malaysia MY
  In addition to that we are working on extending the connection to the Malaysian register Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) by adding an additional legal form.

• India IN
  As well under development Is our connection to the Indian register which will bring more stability and additional data availability.

• Hongkong HK
  In addition to that we are currently developing a new integration with the Hong Kong Companies Registry and the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department’s Business Registration system.

• United States US
  Last but not least we are planning to reestablish our connections to the Missouri Secretary of State, the Vermont Secretary of State as well as to the Wyoming Secretary of State. Furthermore, improvements to our integration with the New York Department of State – Division of Corporations are scheduled for release.
